I worked with Immersive LTD once again. IWC organised a dining event to introduce a new watch collection. During the curse of the event, we projected "moving wallpapers" at 360°. The aim was to create something that is very subtle, yet elegant and of course, follow the branding guidelines.

I designed, and art directed the 360° content, various still frames and the template for the projection.

As our render resolution was 1080x18200 pixel, I thought the best course of action is to use the C4D native or physical render engine. Because of the demand for quick visualisation and draft turnarounds, I made my move to Octane. It was a relatively risky move because of limited GPU farm accessibility, and we decided to render everything in-house. There was a lot of testing involved to optimise the render resolution-time -upscale-denoise ratios.
The renders were running for two weeks, remotely managed and backed up to Google drive and local network.

During the event, MO performed 2 songs, and I had to create something complementary that follows the music. This is a short edit that shows the changes between verse and chorus.
